Walking Route Instructions: You can see the Customs House building which is currently undergoing renovation work. Our next stop on the walk is the La Pasionaria statue which is directly opposite the Customs House back on the River Clyde walkway.

The Customs House was opened in 1840 and designed by an Irish born customs offical John Taylor, who worked for the customs. An important building for the maritime trading city of Glasgow.
