Gifting Falkland Palace
The metallic plaque beneath the image of Our Lady of Ostrobrama, housed in the chapel of Falkland Palace, features the emblem of the Polish parachute unit whose members presented the art work to their place of worship. The dedications alongside are in English and Polish languages. The replica icon was created by a member of the battalion, Albin Bratanek.
