Welcome to our Dundee Eurowalk. The total walk is 3 to 4 km from the starting point at the International Submarine Memorial on Victoria Dock to the end point at the Howff Cemetery. We recommend parking your car in the city centre or arriving by bus or train then heading to the V&A museum and walking along the new Riverside walk to get to our starting point at the International Submarine Memorial on Victoria Dock.
If you would like to extend your walk, you can finish by visiting the Tree of Liberty on Perth Road. Explore the walk at your own pace or on more than one day. We have provided a map below and there are walking route instructions on each page of the walk. The places on the walk have historic and modern links that Dundee has with mainland Europe. If you know of other places with European links that we should feature, please let us know.
The total walk is 4 km and involves a fair bit of walking, including on uneven surfaces or cobble stones and up steps and walking on and off pavements. We have included links to accessibility guides for particular stops on the walk such as the McManus Gallery so you can hopefully enjoy a visit even if you don’t feel you can walk the whole walk. We also suggest that there is lots to explore as well when reading our walk on the internet.
